Description of the activity : Do you want to understand how websites are built? Join me and learn the basics of web site design for free. In a two hour course I'll teach you the basics of HTML language. You will find it practical even if you want to use a website builder. In this session you will build your very first web page from scratch!
These are topics we will cover:
- What is HTML
- Tools you need (You don't need to prepare anything in advance)
- Some HTML Tags
- What a CMS (content management system) does for you
At the end, I provide you a path to follow and some resources to learn from.
Feel free to bring your laptop in order to try HTML tags on the spot and ask your questions.
There are limited seats available. Sign up before they are gone. This course will be in English. I also speak French so for those who feel more comfortable you are free to communicate back in French.
