Description of the activity : WELCOME TO @HACK 2025 - Presented by Interac
@Hack is an annual cybersecurity hackathon taking place at Concordia University, brought to you by TECHNATION and Hexploit Alliance. This is an in-person event open to post-secondary students across Canada. Both beginner and experienced hackers are welcome! Registration deadline is January 24, 2025.
Hackathon Details
Students will compete in teams to take on a series of cybersecurity-related challenges, ranging from hacking to AI to reverse engineering. The hackathon is in capture-the-flag (CTF) format. The top teams will win cash prizes!
The hackathon spans 1.5 days over March 1-2, 2025.
After Registration
Once registration closes in January, all participants will receive an email asking you to verify that you can still attend @Hack. After we get this final verification that you're in, you'll be invited to the @Hack Discord server where you will create your team.
Team Creation
Although you will compete in teams of 2-4, each participant will register as an individual. If you have teammates in mind, make sure they also register on this page.
You will create and finalize your team after you and your teammates have verified your registrations in January. If you don't have a team, you can link up with other individuals over the @Hack Discord.
How to Hack Workshop
We welcome all hackers (especially beginners) to attend our free "How to Hack" workshop on January 17 at Concordia to learn how a CTF hackathon works and get tips from the challenge developers.
